In Mayan mythology, the “Water Lily Jaguar” is a powerful jaguar deity often depicted with water lilies growing from its head, symbolizing a connection between the earthly realm, the underworld, and the watery depths. It’s name reflects the imagery of the jaguar emerging from a pond adorned with water lilies.”
