ARTS’ free after school classes introduce children to various forms of art while encouraging creative thinking in a fun and safe environment. Taught by local artists, musicians, and educators, classes are designed to build self-confidence while contributing to artistic skills, leadership development, and better academic performance.
About the Program
Registration
Registration for the Fall 2025 semester of Art After School opens on August 1. Early enrollment is encouraged, as spaces are limited and fill quickly. The class schedule will be available on August 1.
Enrollment Requirements
The program is open to public, private, and homeschooled students grades 1 – 12. While participating schools limit enrollment to their own students, ARTS campuses in Fayetteville and Schulenburg welcome students from all area schools. Art After School is always free —no registration fee is required.
Locations
Art After School is held weekly during the school year in the following locations: Fayetteville, Flatonia, Industry, La Grange, Moulton, Navasota, Round Top- Carmine, Schulenburg, Smithville, Waelder, and Weimar.
Class Topics
The program offers a wide range of subjects for children to explore, including acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, fiber and needle felting, storybook art, sensory projects, and the elements and principles of art and design.

ARTS is committed to providing Art After School at no cost to families or schools. However, it costs ARTS an average of $100 per student each semester to offer high-quality arts enrichment. Please consider supporting the program. Click the button below to explore the many ways you can contribute.
