Art After School classes introduce children to various forms of art while encouraging creative thinking in a fun and safe environment. Taught by local artists, musicians, and educators, classes are designed to build self-confidence while contributing to artistic skills, leadership development, and better academic performance.

The program is open to public, private, and homeschooled students grades 1 – 12. While participating schools limit enrollment to their own students, ARTS campuses in Fayetteville and Schulenburg welcome students from all area schools. Art After School is always free —no registration fee is required.

Art After School is held weekly during the school year in the following locations: Fayetteville, Flatonia, La Grange, Moulton, Round Top-Carmine, Schulenburg, Smithville, and Weimar.

The program offers a wide range of subjects for children to explore, including acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, fiber and needle felting, storybook art, sensory projects, and the elements and principles of art and design.
