Listo Para Vola ~ HueHue Valiente

$295.00

Artwork by Pamela Enriquez-Courts.

Metallic Acrylic on Canvas Board, 10 × 8 inches.

“HueHue was born into the family of the Xoloitzcuintli. The Xolo dogs. These dogs were believed by the Mesoamericans to be capable of traveling into the afterlife, the underworld that departed souls will travel through to get to the land of Mictlan. But first, the soul must travel for four years and go through many tests and trials to make it to Mictlan. And the Xolo dogs are their guides. HueHue will go through many years of training with his teacher, Itza, until he earns his wings to be the brave and valiant guide dog that he was meant to be.”
